NEW! Open up a new world for your special needs child or disabled adult and experience the great outdoors with the all-terrain KFN Explorer Pushchair. This specialist buggy is built to last and roomy enough to carry tall and/or larger passengers up to 12.5 stone (80kg) and up to 5’6″ (165cm) with canopy on and max. 6′ without canopy (183cm) in height. It is super lightweight and easy to fold making outings more enjoyable. Suitable from around age 7 years old (min height 110cm+), an insert can be used for younger/smaller passengers to reduce the seat for the first few years, and for older, taller or heavier children or young adults, the good-sized seat provides plenty of room. The footrest slides up and down and can be set wherever is best for your passenger.
This pushchair is a cross between the ‘traditional’ 3 wheeled all terrain buggy and a wheelchair – but with a big difference – with four large ‘bike’ style wheels it can easily meet the demands of an adventurous outdoor family & take you anywhere!

Designed with accessibility in mind, the KFN Explorer manual pushchair is designed for mild to moderately physically disabled passengers as well as those who may have behavioural challenges and other medical conditions which impacts on their mobility and safety. The pushchair is one of our larger models, however it folds easily, is light to use and works perfectly for walking, jogging and hiking. Whether you want to go for a leisurely stroll, explore a country trail, hiking, take a trek in the woods or day trip to the beach, this pushchair can go places that wheelchairs just don’t work!
Its 4 large, bike-style wheels roll easily over rougher terrains and give the pushchair great balance that makes it easy to push and manoeuvre, so it can also be used indoors or a round town. It is designed to fold compactly and the 4 wheels will simply click off, you will need a long boot as it’s 150cm folded and approx. 55cm wide – it may run lengthways in the car if you are able to drop a seat down flat.
This is a large specialist pushchair that accommodates older children, so it’s ideal if your teenage child has outgrown their pushchair and you’re looking for the next size up. This pushchair is also suitable if you’re looking to transport an adult either indoors or outdoors. The seat is very roomy although it should be noted this is a ‘hammock style’ and would not be suitable for anyone requiring a structured seat for specific postural support (there is an insert available that may provide some support). There is no recline function on the seat back, it is a single position soft seat so there is no board in the back rest. Overall, this is a very comfortable pushchair and eye-catching with it’s large wheels!
