NEW! Electric ‘Boost’ version of the Explorer Pushchair… giving parents and carers a helping hand when the going gets tough! This parent-pushed buggy is the same size as the manual pushchair but with a big difference…..this is a motorized version of the all-terrain stroller that provides even more opportunity to get out into nature, whether to a country park, the forest or beach. You can now cover longer distances, whether on the flat or in hilly terrain, so a mountain trek or an energetic walk is no longer out of the question! The Electric Explorer goes where wheelchairs simply can’t…it’s time to life life with no limits!
Construction: The propulsion is controlled with a handle that allows step-less speed control in 3 speed ranges, these speed ranges together with acceleration/deceleration is programmable, so the pushchair can be adapted to your passenger and the locations where it’s used. The electric ‘boost’ function is particularly useful for heavier passengers who may be more difficult to push and/or manoeuvre – the electric motor makes this a cinch by doing all the heavy ‘lifting’ for you. You can use it on flat surfaces or when an extra helping hand is needed to get up a steep hill or to turn with a heavier passenger, the electric motor will give you that extra push.

Designed with accessibility in mind, the KFN Explorer manual pushchair is designed for mild to moderately physically disabled passengers as well as those who may have behavioural challenges and other medical conditions which impacts on their mobility and safety. The pushchair is one of our larger models, however it folds easily, is light to use and works perfectly for walking, jogging and hiking. Whether you want to go for a leisurely stroll, explore a country trail, hiking, take a trek in the woods or day trip to the beach, this pushchair can go places that wheelchairs just don’t work!
Its 4 large, bike-style wheels roll easily over rougher terrains and give the pushchair great balance that makes it easy to push, so it can also be used indoors or a round town. It is designed to fold compactly and the 4 wheels will simply click off, so it will fit in most reasonably sized boots.

This is a large specialist pushchair that accommodates older children, so it’s ideal if your teenage child has outgrown their pushchair and you’re looking for the next size up. Perhaps your child is ‘big’ for their age and needs a more robust buggy. This pushchair is also suitable if you’re looking to transport an adult either indoors or outdoors. The seat is very roomy although it should be noted this is a ‘hammock style’ and would not be suitable for anyone requiring a structured seat for specific postural support.
